Style Guide 2.0 Deep Dive
Client: Amazon - Internal Operations Communications/Employee Engagement - Ops (IOC/EEO)
Role: Art Director & Designer
Challenge: Help define the Amazon IOC/EEO brand, and bring it to life across various materials that will be used across thousands of global delivery and packaging sites.
Process: Creative Director laid the framework for the guide, and handled coordinating reviews with leadership and the brand team. My role was fleshing the guide out, as well as creating and owning all of the ‘Bringing it all together’ and ‘Campaign’ sections. This involved taking all other sections (type, illustration, photography) and combining them into examples including templates for posters, digital screens, email newsletter, printed newsletters, and more.
Solution: Created a 45+ page digital Style Guide, and a series of digital templates to hand off to the global team to use across site communications. Also revamping illustration library to bring them up to date.
Bonus: Guide is still in progress, expected to be fully approved by all teams by end of December 2019.
